Your Support Shares Love

Did you know children learn to share around age seven? Sharing is an important part of our work. When you share your time, treasure, and talent, you provide a safe space for children to share their stories and thrive.

Remember, resilient people don’t go through life alone. Children become resilient because they have a nurturing, healthy, and supportive relationship with an adult. Adults need to share their time, love, and attention with children in their homes and in their care. This is why sharing, in all of its forms, inspires us! So we want to share the love with you.

Whether you’re a parent, guardian, child care provider, therapist, neighbor, or all-around good friend of ChildSavers, we’ve gathered our favorite Valentine-themed, resilience-building activities to share with you.

  • When you ride on an airplane, you’re reminded that you need to put on your own oxygen mask before helping others. In other words, remember to take care of yourself, too! What sparks joy for you? If you have to take the time to think about the last good book you read, the last time you ate your favorite food, or the last time you enjoyed your favorite hobby – it’s been too long! Fill your own bucket today by practicing some self-care!
  • Create a wall of positive messages to inspire yourself and share with the people in your life. At ChildSavers, we’ve created a window of positive message hearts for our colleagues in our employee lounge. We use the same shared values we employ in fulfilling our mission – relationships, diversity, integrity, passion, and impact – to every aspect of day-to-day work.
  • You’re busy and we know you stay connected with some of your friends and family through social media. This year, we’ve made it easy to share your love for the folks in your life while sharing your love for ChildSavers. Check out our Valentine’s cards below, and let someone special know you’re thinking of them today by sharing on Facebook or Twitter.

Never underestimate the power of a healthy, nurturing relationship – with yourself and all of the people in your life.
