Artwork on Display in ChildSavers Building

The ChildSavers building has been completely renovated and, as of March 31, 2008, is re-opened for business on both levels. We are delighted with the results of the renovation work. Among the aesthetically pleasing features are many works of art. Please visit our Artwork page to see some sample pieces or to view the list of all pieces currently on display.

February 11 - 17 was National Random Acts of Kindness Week -
But it's never too late to show kindness!

For many of Richmond's children who have been exposed to violence and abuse, it is the start of their nightmare and the end of their childhood. Atop Church Hill, in the old WRVA building, we have unsung heroes who devote their lives to helping children overcome trauma.

Show a random act of kindness by helping a child get the services he or she needs. Please give what you can by making an online donation.

New Program Names; Same Great Services

ChildSavers is pleased to announce that as of autumn 2007, our three primary program areas will henceforth be known by new and more descriptive names:

  • Our Clinical Services Department is now the Guidance Clinic;
  • Our Education & Training Department is now Child Development Services; and
  • Our ChildSAVE program is now Trauma Response.

Please note that our website will be modified to reflect these changes during the coming weeks. As always, the ChildSavers staff is dedicated to providing top-quality child development and mental health services for Central Virginia's children and their families and caregivers.
